About Ruxter
Ruxter is a privately held company headquartered in Shawnee, Kansas. Launched in 2009, Ruxter was founded with the purpose of bringing the combined power of the mobile web and SMS to the small business segment. We have pursued this goal by offering one of the easiest to use mobile website creators available coupled with an aggressive pricing structure, virtually removing the technical and financial barriers that typically greet businesses entering the mobile space.

Management
John Epperson
John Epperson is President of Ruxter and serves as CEO and CTO, and guides overall strategy.
With over 20 years experience in managing and implementing information technology solutions in several diverse roles around the globe, John has seen many instances of both good and bad uses of technology. Those broad career experiences provide some great perspective for creating innovative solutions in all areas of business.
Most recently, as Vice President and Director of Information Technology with Henderson Engineers (based in Lenexa, KS), John was focused on web-based application design and development. His team created a sophisticated intranet, improving both the management and automation of many vital areas of the business. The team also implemented several extremely short time-frame web projects for Wal-Mart and created an extranet for managing the complex design and construction process for Wal-Mart Stores.
Always looking for a challenge, in 2007 John began discovering the many shortcomings of the Web when viewed on mobile phones. It was pretty apparent that the experience was about as bad as it could get, and from there the Ruxter concept began crystallizing. Working since then, the team has created something uniquely designed to meet the needs of businesses and organizations as well as their customers and members.
Mike Craig
Mike Craig is Ruxter’s Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for promoting Ruxter, talking to Ruxter users about their experience, and developing more Ruxter features.
Prior to joining Ruxter, Mike worked in London for three years where he was responsible for managing the IT consulting scope for a multi-billion dollar campus headquarters development project in Qatar. He left the project with a deep appreciation for English ales and the pubs that serve them, rugby and the difficulties of hailing a cab in Doha in the summertime.
Mike has over 15 years experience in IT systems design, communications engineering, marketing, and management gained through work with Information Technology consulting firms in Connecticut, Kansas City and New York. If asked, he can probably recite some technical jargon about communications cabling.
Mike holds a B.S. in Telecommunications and an M.S. in Information & Communications Science, both from Ball State University. He recommends that you spend some time in Muncie if you get the chance.
